Congratulations Maria Venus Raj for being the fourth runner up in the 2010 Miss Universe Pageant.
A lot of people have criticized her supposed failure to answer the judge's question, but to me, it's already a great, great achievement to have reached the Magic 5 in the biggest and most prestigious beauty pageant in the universe. It was not easy being there, representing the Philippines, gracefully going through the whole pageant, especially with a tragedy that happened in the country just barely 24 hours before, and the tragic loss of Venus' best friend, 2009 Binibining Pilipinas International Melody Gersbach who died in a vehicular accident 2 days before the pageant night.
Mabuhay ka, Venus!
