Still Alive

Yes, I'm still alive, but have been very tired and very sick lately because of lack of rest. Yes, I know I need rest but I just have a lot of things to do with the play coming very soon, with work, with a video project we're making for AP's birthday, and of course, I need to spend time with my family as well. Rehearsals is 6pm to 9pm every night except Sundays, and on Wednesday, I'll go undertime from work so I can attend our pictorials. Yes, play dates are almost here.

After the play, I will be catching up with my rest, I promise that to myself. And yes, hopefully, I'll also be able to catch up with my posts here.

Migraine?

I am sick. I am very sick, and I hate it.

It started with a major headache last night when I went to bed. The headache was still as painful when I woke up, but since I know there's no one who'd be able to cover my shift, I forced myself to work. Bad idea.

The pain got worst as I was working, that even if I wasn't able to finish my lunch, I threw up 4 times. My head felt like it was vibrating, and I was having double visions from time to time. I was lucky that there weren't a lot of calls coming in that allowed me to rest a bit.

Weak, I went to the doctor after my shift, and even he wasn't really sure. He just told me to take pain relievers because it could be a migraine or a tension headache, and to also have my eyes checked by an Ophthalmologist.

I barely had the energy to go home, but I somehow did and went straight to bed. I just woke up around 15 minutes ago, and my head is still throbbing. The doctor mentioned that one of the factors contributing to this is my lack of sleep the past days. My body clock has been kinda messed up this week. Whenever I go to bed at around 8pm, I wake up at 11pm, not able to sleep until 3am when I have to wake up again at 4am or else I'll be late for work. I need to rest this, and being absent from work tomorrow will be a big help.

Head's acting up again, gotta hit the sack yet again.

Chills

Chills refers to feeling cold after an exposure to a cold environment.
The word can also refer to an episode of shivering,
accompanied by paleness and feeling cold.

Last night, I decided to sleep really early because I was unusually tired and my wife was using the computer. The usual routine is that she'll sleep early because she has work at 12 midnight, while I use the computer until around 11 PM, and then sleep because I had work at 5:30 AM. I set my alarm and slept. Less than 2 hours after, I woke up shivering. I asked my wife to turn the air-conditioner off, but I was still freezing. I put on my thickest jacket and covered myself with the thickest blanket, but I was still shaking and freezing, my jaws shivering. It was so unusual for me to feel that since I rarely feel cold all my life, even if I have a high fever. In this case, I didn't have any fever, in fact, when my wife and daughter felt my hand, it was unusually cold.

I was already thinking of going to a hospital, but we just can't afford extra expenses nowadays, and I can't afford to be absent from work since I don't have any backup yet with my client, so I just forced myself to sleep. I woke up around 11:30 PM, my wife just left for the office, and I was feeling okay. I no longer had chills, but I didn't sleep anymore. I'm now at the office, hoping that the nightmare I experienced last night will not happen again.
