As I start my 31st year..

What can one say to a dream come true?
What can one say to have sung for you?
All these years have been a blessing to me,
all of you included, not to mention my family.

And to the people whose faith took me to higher places,
too many names, but I will always remember the faces.
You are all in my heart, in my soul you belong
Wherever God puts me, you're in every song.

Chasing time is what I'm all about
"Time, don't chase me" is my prayer, my shout.
I thank you all for the 30 awesome years
Songs, smiles, laughters and tears.

I will make a promise for you all today
I will sing for you forever, can't stop me, no way.
I'm chasing time! Catch me if you can..
Will I make it or not? It's all up to the MAN!

Forever Forever

Can forever resonate twice
within this gift of song
will the melody I leave behind
serenade you when I am gone

Can forever resonate twice
within the fabric of a father's care
will my two angels know someday
they are my rising sun, my smile, my sweet air

Can forever resonate twice
within a man who has been blessed
through a paternal pillar of inspiration
and a mother's pool of boundless love they lifted
my priceless gifts my wings from above

Can forever resonate twice
within a heart that has loved and lost
to have soared in the winds of a rainbow sky
and look on as the seasons passed me by
without a second thought
I would play Icarus again
if only to have now
what I had then

Forever, forever
this exponential experience of life
I cannot help but gasp in awe
at how a man can have forever twice

E.E. Cummings

By E. E. Cummings

somewhere i have never travelled, gladly beyond
any experience, your eyes have their silence:
in your most frail gesture are things which enclose me,
or which i cannot touch because they are too near

your slightest look easily will unclose me
though i have closed myself as fingers,
you open always petal by petal myself as Spring opens
(touching skilfully,mysteriously)her first rose

or if your wish be to close me, i and
my life will shut very beautifully ,suddenly,
as when the heart of this flower imagines
the snow carefully everywhere descending;

nothing which we are to perceive in this world equals
the power of your intense fragility:whose texture
compels me with the color of its countries,
rendering death and forever with each breathing

(i do not know what it is about you that closes
and opens;only something in me understands
the voice of your eyes is deeper than all roses)
nobody, not even the rain, has such small hands

Someone to Watch over Me

All my life I've searched, for someone just like you
To love, to hold, to treasure, to watch your dreams come true
You're with me beside me, behind me when I'm down
I can't believe what you do to me, delete my every frown

So how can I love you more I think I might implode
My love for you may sometimes be a love too heavy to hold
But all I ask in return for all the above you see
I ask for nothing more than just someone to watch over me..

Always

ALWAYS my forever, you will be
Like words that rhyme, in poetry
The music we make, with each kiss
Every chance I get, I never miss

To hold you I've told you, is a dream
A dream more beautiful, than it seems
For in my heart, no matter what I do
Through good days and bad,
I'LL ALWAYS LOVE YOU ♥

Chasing Time

As I'm looking far beyond,
any possible dreams
I see faces; familiar places; forever -
no lukewarm in-betweens
the scattered memories I collect,
are like brilliant sunlit rays
piercing through the clouds,
of what was once a perfect day

The symphonic harmony,
that becomes the song of the sea
Find me lost and so afraid;
haunted by the melody
It moves me, thrills me,
makes me believe
that God was in a good mood,
when he gave this day to me

For the journey from within,
is surely the longer mile
No time to stop, to think,
or even wish a while
So here again that nagging question,
is this life really mine?
Just don't look back, eyes forward -
when I'm
Chasing Time...
